Networking Events for Filmmakers in the UK

It all started when Angela Peters invited her industry buddies along to have drinks and chat all things film and TV. Then she met Ben, who had founded the LA Actors Tweetup and the rest is history. They joined forces, and the networking events officially became UK Actors Tweetup.

Fast forward to 2026 and the Tweetups are still going strong (as City Nights). We host everything from casting director, agent and industry talks; we attend job fairs to help filmmakers navigating the filmmaking circuit; we host combined socials with other organisations, workshops; and have our ever-growing, BIFA qualifying City Lights Film Festival (formerly TweetFest Film Festival).
